Deepika Padukone turned 28 on January 5, 2014. Deepika Padukone is very famous in Bollywood industry. She rang in the New Year with parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, and sister Anisha, in Maldives. Deepika Padukone spending some quality time with her family in the beach country, the actress flew out to the Big Apple for some 'me' time. And 'good friend' Ranveer Singh was there to keep her company.

A little over two weeks later however, the duo stepped into a New York eatery together. And onlookers reveal that while Ranveer was comfortable with the attention they received from fans, Deepika was not too keen to interact with them. He happily obliged requests for photographs but she left in a huff after a group of star-gazers surrounded them.

Shahid Kapoor’s Bike Scare...!

Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Shahid Kapoor, who is paired with Ileana D'Cruz has quite a lot of action sequences. Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, produced by Ramesh Taurani, releases on September 20. Shahid Kapoor had to perform many stunts including tearing off a poster and jumping off a building. It was during one of those action-chase sequences that Shahid had a bike scare. The actor was to ride a bike at the speed of 120 kmph. However, as luck would have it, the brakes failed while the scene was being shot. While it did create panic on the sets, the actor's quick thinking averted a major mishap. Shahid Kapoor is excited about action and stunts in "Phata Poster Nikhla Hero." Shahid Kapoor said, "She was very nervous when we were doing stunts because she says her skin is sensitive and it gets bruised easily. "Satyagraha" Mints Rs.11.21 Crore On Opening Day...!

Bollywood film "Satyagraha" managed to gross Rs.11.21 crore on its opening day. It is said to be the highest ever opening for the filmmaker. The cast of this film is Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Manoj Bajpayee and Amrita Rao, released Friday. 'Chennai Express' Collects Over 270 Crore Worldwide...!

Superstar Shahrukh Khan's Chennai Express seems to be unstoppable when it comes to creating new records at the box office. Chennai Express made with a budget of  75 crore became the fastest 100-crore earner in the history of Indian cinema. Chennai Express is one film which didn't fail to live up to expectations. The action-packed romantic comedy has performed better than expected. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukon doing a wounderful performance in this action film. The movie saw an average occupancy on the second Saturday and as per early estimates it collected approximately Rs 8 crore at the Domestic Box Office. Chennai Express now stands at a domestic total of about Rs 171.60 crore at the Box Office.

After breaking records in its first week business at the India and Overseas Box Office, Chennai Express made a business of Rs 7 crore on its second Friday. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer has made a new record by collecting over 270 crore worldwide. Till Monday (19th August) the collections of Chennai Express at the box office in India had reached 185.73 cr and the overseas collection of the film is around 90 crore in two weeks. Shahrukh Khan made everyone keen to watch his entertainer by giving the audience a special offer to buy two and get one ticket free on the day of Rakshabandhan.

Sonakshi Sinha Wants To Play "Madhubala" On Screen...!

Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha  is very beautiful and multi talanted actrees in Bollywood industry. She born to star parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha has established herself in the film industry in less than three years. Beautiful gorgeous Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone are doing two Blockbuster films. "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani" and then wowed with her emoting in "Chennai Express", Deepika Padukone has moved up on the success ladder. She says, she never gives up and would continue to work hard. Deepika Padukone feels Rohit Shetty, who takes pride in making Chennai Express, the film to earn Rs.100 crore fastest, comes from a different school of movie-making. Deepika Padukone said in an interview. "I feel ups and downs are a part of one's career and this totally depends on how you take it. You can either be knocked down by the negative things or you can take it in a positive way and learn from it. "Maybe because I am from a sports background, I don't give up easily. I am a fighter," added the daughter of former All England badminton champion Prakash Padukone.

She started her career in Hindi films with Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om, Deepika  Padukone believes in doing her homework and spends time preparing for her roles. She proved she has the potential better than just look glamorous on the screen. She was successful in her endeavour. Deepika  Padukone said, "Preparation is definitely important, but it depends on the kinds of roles I do. Like I completely identify with my character in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. I had to be myself and I didn't have to actually prepare for it." 

Salman Khan Makes A Special Appearance For Riteish Deshmukh...!

Bollywood star Riteish Deshmukh got superstar Salman Khan to do a special appearance in his debut Marathi film, "Lai Bhaari". The film, directed by Nishikant Kamat, Salman Khan and Riteish  Deshmukh have been friends for a very long time. The two, apparently met when shooting in Hyderabad at Ramoji Rao Studios for their respective projects. Post the shoot, they would sit together and chat. The latter was very impressed by Riteish's approach to his production venture. 

In fact, he himself suggested that he would like to be a part of the film. Riteish Deshmukh, of course, was ecstatic with the idea. He immediately spoke to Nishikant and created a special sequence for Salman Khan. Soon after, they shot for the part, which is one of the film's highlights. Riteish Deshmukh said, "It was extremely gracious of Salman Khan to offer to be a part of our film Lai Bhaari. It was great to do a Marathi scene with him."

Shahrukh Khan - Rohit Shetty Team Up For 'Chennai Express 2' ?

Bollywood film "Chennai Express" breaking all box-office records, filmmaker Rohit Shetty and lead actor Shahrukh Khan are in a celebratory mood. King Khan said that he was with Rohit Shetty and Deepika Padukone returning from a promotional event,  they decided to team up together for another film. Rohit Shetty also offered to write a script so that the trio has something to look forward to. Shahrukh Khan refused to confirm if they will team up for the sequel or a different movie altogether. However, with a long list of directors waiting to sign Shahrukh Khan in their next films.
