Choclate hero Ranbir Kapoor had strongly recommended Bollywood queen Katrina Kaif for this movie. He did not want newcomer Pallavi Sharda to be a part of this ambitious project. However, director Abhinav Kashyap found his female protagonist in Pallavi and stuck to his decision. Director Abhinav Kashyap and Pallavi are more than just good friends. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen dancing to Bhangra beats wearing a complete Punjabi attire for the first time in 'Besharam'. The director stuck to his decision. Eventually, Ranbir Kapoor had to give in to the wishes of Abhinav. Well seems like the off-screen couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are definitely trying hard to be a part of the same projects. Katrina Kaif could have been a part of this movie. Newcomer Pallavi Sharda is shining bright in the promos of her upcoming film Besharam with Ranbir Kapoor.
